Sheryl spun her pen around her thumb and caught it. Impatiently clicking its end, she peered across her monitor looking at her colleague, Meredith, who was trying to focus on the columns of her spreadsheet.

“So what? Can’t we have something nice in a while?”

The pain lingered in Möbius’ head as he rubbed his temples, floating in microgravity. Wearily, he looked around, listening carefully to the steady hum of his ship. He tried to remember what had happened, but his memory was blank. All he knew was that someone or something had knocked him unconscious. He was supposed to be alone in space.

“This stuff is good!” Aaron mumbled with his eyes closed. He was lying on his friend’s couch, barely feeling his arms. “It’s almost like I’m … flying… “ He felt his shoulders feeling light and relaxed until he suddenly heard Connor cough and wheeze, then how he scrambled to his feet, sitting up on his bed. His voice was shrieky and filled with disbelief. “Dude!… You fucking are!”
